Great Job

My refrigerator was not cooling properly due to ice build up on the coils. Called him on Saturday morning, Rovshan was able to schedule a Sunday afternoon service call. He came over and did a complete diagnostic, ruling out problems with the thermostat, timer, and defroster. Turns out it was a common problem, clogged drain pipe which was quickly repaired. Very professional, very good service, reasonable rates. Will call again.

Very repsonsive and left everything working well

After the freezer conked out at around 4pm, they were willing to add us at the end of the day to make sure it got fixed, recommended a less expensive solution than what others might recommend, and took care of the situation perfectly. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We had a broken water & ice dispenser and the part that was needed was no longer available. Rovshan was able to fix it anyway no problem and now it works great. No more leaking or frost build up in the freezer! Plus he guaranteed the work for 1 year. We are very happy with the repair and service.

At the beginning of a heat wave, we called for service and got an appointment sooner than I expected.
They arrived shortly before the appointment window and started right to work on the problem.
(The system had been installed by a contractor over a year before and we had not previously had to use the system. When we first turned it on, it didn't work at all and I quickly realized the contractor had incorrectly wired the unit.)
The crew from Your Appliance, Refrigeration & HVAC Repair listened to my concerns and theories, showing great respect, despite some of my errors in understanding.
The first problem was a contactor that had been burned out by an error in wiring. They had to purchase a matching part and game me a quote, based on experience, for the part and the service.
They quickly acquired the part and installed it. There was still an internal wiring issue, so they stayed another hour and diagnosed the problem. When the system was fully functional, they gave me an invoice, to my surprise, that was the same amount as the early estimate!
The system has functioned perfectly ever since, and for much less than I had guessed it would cost before I made the appointment.
Your Appliance, Refrigeration and HVAC Repair will be my first choice for service, at work, or at home.

I called "Your Appliance..." because my SubZero was forming ice on the refrigerator side. They showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, and arranged for another technician to come by a couple hours later to do the repair. They were reliable, professional, efficient, and charged reasonably. I'm very grateful.

They performed same repair on our fridge twice in 1 year. The part was warrantied for 3 months and apparently it's a common failure in our model. These guys were exceptionally prompt, same day service both times. Expensive, but on par for area. Wouldn't hesitate to call again.

I'd used Your Appliance once before a couple of years ago, checked their Yelp reviews, found them still highly rated, and called with not 1 but 3 repair issues-- dishwasher, washer & dryer! They knew immediately from my description that the washer needed an expensive repair which was probably not worth doing. Alex was out the same day to fix the dishwasher and the dryer. He was very competent and solved both problems, so I'm now enjoying glitch-free operations on both appliances again!

On Dec 21, 2016, my 90% functional Jenn-Air 36" Glass Top electric cooktop was broken to become 20% functional by DeAnza appliance in trying to fix 10% non-functional part; not having a cooktop during Christmas with extended family arriving from Texas was not an option.

Spoke to TJ on 21st evening after purchasing new gas cooktop from Best Buy to be delivered on Dec 23rd morning. TJ was nice on the phone and accommodative of my schedule needs. I used this opportunity to switch from electric to gas cooktop of same model & make. The technician Peter from Your Appliance arrived on Dec 23rd afternoon at 1.00 pm as scheduled; we ran into a small glitch as the gas cooktop was 1/8th longer than the electric cooktop it was replacing; so, it did not fit into the granite cutout. Peter was patient until a handyman friend of mine came to cut the granite top little bit. Peter installed the unit patiently working with my friend and everything was done by 4.00 pm. Great relief to have a new working cooktop for Christmas with extended family.

Alex replaced a valve. His fix was significantly less expensive and solved the leak. I will definitely call them again.

Ralph came to install a Bosch dishwasher for us. Unfortunately, the instructions caused the dishwasher to be mounted about 1/16 inch too high, causing the top of the door to be scraped by the mounting hardware. Your Appliance were very accommodating and ordered a replacement for the top of the door, and Ralph came back promptly to replace it for us. We are quite happy with the service we received.

Excellent service. Repairman very experienced and fixed my older maytag dryer by replacing malfunctioning part and cleaned it inside. Works very well.

I've used this outfit twice, for a dishwasher and a washing machine, and they did the job promptly and effectively both times. With the dishwasher they could have recommended costly work but said the problem was intermittent outages of an expensive part; eventually it would fail and then we'd have to replace rather than repair. It was more than a year before it gave out, and all we paid them was the price of a visit.

They showed up on time. Diagnosed the issue with our beverage refrigerator quickly and were able to fix the leak in the coolant system. All is well after couple of months of operations. Saved us from having to purchase a $1600 replacement unit. Only regret is that we should have call them sooner. Wasted several months and extra $ trying to fix on our own.

HVAC transformer replacement turned out to be a bit more complicated than thought due to some non-standard wiring. Fixed without charging more than originally quoted and replaced a thermostat without charging extra.

This service was available to come to my house within a few hours of calling and they did a great job at a great price. More of a personal service than the others.

They are easy to reach ... I was able to talk to a real human on first call (which I made in the middle of the work day) and schedule a visit within a few hours for them to fix a stove in a rental unit. They arrived at the unit, fixed the problem, and then came to my door to be paid, all without any other hassle or delay, and with a well articulated report on the cause of the problem. They were very polite and personable every step of the way, charge reasonable rates, and as far as I know did a fine job. I'd been left up a creek without a paddle by my home warranty company - they had ordered a new oven for me and had it delivered to my new home, but couldn't find anyone to perform the installation and the removal of the old one (!! - you'd think the people who moved the new oven upstairs could also take the old oven downstairs, but no, that's not how it works).

So I was left calling around to see if anyone would help me install the new oven and take the old one away. Rovshan's team is spectacular. They came to my house twice - once to scope out the situation, make sure everything would fit, make sure the oven would fit into the new space and the old oven would make it safely down my wooden stairs and out the door. They were careful and detail oriented about setting expectations (we can do this much for $XX, but if we need to buy a new connector it'll be another $X, and we won't know until we remove the old one). They let me know ahead of time that the new oven was a tiny bit smaller than the old one, so I'd probably want to go to Home Depot and find something to fill the gap between the oven and the counter.

Then they came to my house with two people in a very timely manner. They spent over an hour on the installation and brought moving blankets to remove the old oven, very carefully maneuvering it down the stairs without a single scratch. They found a recycling service to deal with the disposal of the oven.

Very grateful for this team. Will use them again!

Last time I contacted them was for a refrigerator repair. After they diagnosed the prob, Rovshan the owner explained to me that it's better I buy a new one as my fridge was already 12 yrs old and may not last long after the repair. Our built-in Kitchen-Aid fridge was not staying cold enough, despite repeated efforts to reset it. This was a recurrent, though inconsistent, problem that a previous repair company had diagnosed as needing an new compressor at a cost of $2000+. Fortunately we did not trust that diagnosis, and called Your Appliance to check things out the next time the problem occurred. They were able to come out the very next day for a reasonable estimate price and quickly repaired the problem at the modest cost of $195, and even returned to fix another problem with the fridge that we hadn't mentioned earlier, at no extra charge. Amazing customer service. Rovshan was very prompt in sending the technician after end of day and the technician worked extra to get the fridge repaired same evening. This was huge for us. I strongly recommend them for their wonderful service and commitment to customers.

Rovshan, the owner, has such a wonderful attitude and a great sense of integrity. I had two issues a) My GE induction cooktop 'died' after six years. b) my Fisher Paykell lower dishwasher drawer stopped working.
After three trips, it was ascertained these two high end appliances had to be handled with each of the two manufacturer's reps. Rovshan refunded me the money as he could not solve the problem. FYI; neither GE or F & P could solve the problem on their first visit. F & P took 3 visits!! GE had to replace the whole cooktop. My input at this time, if one has a high end appliance with mother boards and electrical stuff-go the manufacturer. For standard issues, Rovshan and his team is outstanding

I am a property manager who works frequently with Rovshan and the rest of the Your Appliance Repair team. He always calls ahead of time to set up the appointment. He's professional and friendly, and charges fair prices for his work and materials. He diagnoses the problem accurately to make sure that his fix won't be a "one-time" thing only to break again in a few months - he makes the repair with good work that will last for years with proper care. They do have a fee for coming out to look at the problem, but if you approve the work the fee is included in the scope of work. If you have any kind of trouble with your stove, fridge, oven, anything - give them a call!

Responsive, professional and good! I called Your Appliance Repair for a second opinion on my Bosch washer. I spoke to Rovshan, the owner, and he suggested that the noise I was hearing was probably due to bad bearings and would ultimately cost more to fix than replace. Due to a fortunate mixup with the dispatcher, Ralph arrived on time and we decided to have him take a look at it anyway. After much trouble confirming it was not the bearings after all, we discovered the sound was due to two coins stubbornly stuck in the filter (which we had tried to clean out before calling for repairs). This company repaired the ice maker in my refrigerator. They arrived on time and did great work. The repairman took the time to show me a simple fix to a problem that I could do myself.

We've used Your Appliance Repair twice (once for a dryer repair and once for a refrigerator repair), and each time they were responsive, professional and courteous. Their fees are reasonable, and they do good work. Rovshan was very helpful and accommodating when I followed up with after the first visit on one matter. I recommend them highly!

These guys were easy to schedule and finished the job faster than expected. They also work very cleanly. This time they worked on my washing machine, but previous time was on my oven.

We had trouble with our Kitchen Aid Microwave with a "Door" open error. Mr Rovshan and his knowledgeable assistant Mr Rouf (Ralph) came over to our house to diagnose and look into it almost 3 times. He didn't charge us for all those visits, he got the door spring fixed, he got a fuse fixed but still wasn't working. The Kitchen Aid repairs threw their hands up, however, upon research online we found that the door switches were the problem and weren't available anywhere else. Mr Rovshan had me call and order the parts worth about $98 and then a month later when it arrived from Kitchen aid he came and installed.

The team from Your Appliance Repair felt a sense of ownership and didn't charge us till the job got done except the first visit fees. I really appreciated their ownership in this job and perseverance to get it done. We really were not wanting to replace the same unit for $3300/- such a waste when it was an electric issue. He felt bad for us and worked with us till the job got done.

Last week we finally got all the parts in, realized another fuse was needing replacement and it all worked. During this time, I was able to text Rovshan for questions on which part, show pictures of the part when they arrived and he even responded to me during his Christmas break. We have used Your Appliance Repair *three* times in the last few months, and they have been terrific every time. The first time was for a leaking refrigerator, the second for our a/c, and just this morning they fixed our oven, which suddenly wouldn't heat above 100 degrees. When we call, the owner who answers the phone is very friendly and responsive, and has always set up an appointment for us right away. Ralph is the technician for our area who fixed both the refrigerator and our oven; he is a lovely man - polite, knowledgeable, honest, and gets things working very quickly. I am so glad we found their service, and we highly recommend them.

I was able to talk to a real human on first call (which I made in the middle of the work day) and schedule a visit within a few hours for them to fix a stove in a rental unit. We have had them come out to fix our appliances on two occasions. One was for our wine and beverage refrigerator which was not cooling anymore and the other time was for our combo washer/dryer. They came within the time frame that they had indicated. Both occasions the issue was fixed in the most cost effective manner. They were clean, courteous, and careful not to mess up while they performed their task.

Was able to get an appointment within 3 hours of reporting a non-refrigerating refrigerator. Peter (sp?) seems to be very experienced and knowledgable and was able to debug what was going on in about 15 minutes. He replaced our starter, retested for another 15 minutes to make sure that things were working and we're back in the era of frozen foods again. Would recommend, 5/5.

Ralph came to install a Bosch dishwasher for us. Unfortunately, the instructions caused the dishwasher to be mounted about 1/16 inch too high, causing the top of the door to be scraped by the mounting hardware. Your Appliance were very accommodating and ordered a replacement for the top of the door, and Ralph came back promptly to replace it for us. We are quite happy with the service we received.

Alex was very knowledgeable, very helpful and had wonderful customer service. Previously, a different repair company said the only fix to my leaky ice dispenser was to replace the whole freezer door. Alex replaced a valve. His fix was significantly less expensive and solved the leak. I will definitely call them again.

They showed up on time. Diagnosed the issue with our beverage refrigerator quickly and were able to fix the leak in the coolant system. All is well after couple of months of operations. Saved us from having to purchase a $1600 replacement unit. Only regret is that we should have call them sooner. Wasted several months and extra $ trying to fix on our own.

My fridge died and I called Rovshan of Your Appliance and HVAC. He came over to look at the fridge the day I called him at the time he said he would. He ordered the part and when it arrived he came back within a 30min window and repaired the refrigerator. He gave me a 1 year warranty on the part and the labor so if the circuit board fries again he come back and replace for free. Great service and a really nice guy!

Rovhsan did a fantastic job replacing the bearing on my Neptune washing machine. Everyone else I called (including Maytag) said machine needed whole new drum installed, costing nearly $1000! Rovshan replaced bearings for about half that price, making machine good as new. He graciously added my appointment to the end of his day, and worked tirelessly into the evening until he was done, still taking the time to clean up thoroughly afterwards. You couldn't ask for a nicer and better appliance repair person.

My refrigerator was not cooling properly due to ice build up on the coils He came over and did a complete diagnostic, ruling out problems with the thermostat, timer, and defroster. Turns out it was a common problem, clogged drain pipe which was quickly repaired. Very professional, very good service, reasonable rates. Will call again.

Just moved into our new place and found out that my washer stopped working. Rovshan came with his crew, found the broken part, ordered it, drove across the bay to pick it up, came back and fixed it - all within 2 hours! Our refrigerator stopped working. It was around 5:00PM when I started calling local repair services with best reviews from Yelp. Only voice mail from the top three. The next one from the list was this company. Rovshan and his partner were at my place within 20 minutes. It took them less than an hour to replace the part in the refrigerator. They also gave me all kind of useful tips for best care of my appliances.

Rovshan did a great job with our broken microwave. After declaring it dead, he went out to find a replacement that would fit into our custom cabinet as a new one was going to cost about the same as fixing the old one. When he discovered that there was no longer a model that would fit the space, he found the replacement part and then fixed it back up good as new. Very responsive. I will call him again when I need another appliance repaired.

A good overall experience. Two guys showed up about 20 minutes early, diagnosed the problem and I approved the cost to fix it. They had the part on hand and did their thing. While addressing that, they offered to service another component since they had access. He offered a discounted rate on that and they took care of that too. They happily explained what the main issue I called them for was, and as far as I now fixed it about as quick as they could for what seemed to be a reasonable price. Not having any previous refrigerator service experience, I guess you have to go on what it. I'd use them again. They were friendly, considerate and professional.

In August my A/C unit quit on me. It was in the heat of summer so i was needing it repaired asap. I talked to a friend that suggested using Yelp to find someone that had a good reputation and was affordable. I called two places, one didnt answer and another could not come out until the following day. I called "Your Appliance" and got a great response over the phone. He was doing a repair a hour and a half away but told me he would fit me in since i was on his way home that day. When he arrived i was greeted with a very friendly man name Rovshan. One of my concerns was that there would be a part that would have to be ordered and it was late in the day so i'd have wait for him to come back to fix it. Needless to say, he looked at the unit for about 10 min and did some testing and diagnosed it right away....best part is he had the part in his car! A/C is has been working great so far (2 months) and keeping my family cool. This is my 1st Yelp review and felt that they deserved a few kind words and recommendation.

This was the first company I was able to schedule an appointment that same day because of a cancellation. Otherwise I would have to wait to fix my washer, where the lid switch broke, another 5 days for an available appointment.

I had a problem with a Marvel beverage fridge (very small boutique brand). The manufacturer recommended Mr. Appliance who I have used in the past and not had a good experience with so I called around and many of the appliance repair shops basically told me that they do not service Marvel.

I finally came across these guys and they showed up the same day I called them. I was expecting to pay over $150 for a replacement part, plus the service fee, but these guys were able to isolate the problem so I only needed to buy a $28 part! Service was also very reasonable and were able to complete my repair quickly and cleanly.

Then they went above the call of duty by looking at something else that was wrong with my heater. They fixed it in 20 minutes and didn't even charge me for it! These guys are the best and I will most definitely use them again. They were professional, clean, knowledgeable and reasonably priced - it doesn't get better than that!!

My parents have a rental property in Mountain View and we needed to find someone to help with some appliance repair. I called Your Appliance Repair and spoke with Rovshan regarding problems with a water heater, a burner on the stove, and also an adjustment to the dishwasher. We noticed our fridge was starting to warm up the a few days before Thanksgiving so a lot of other repair companies were booked into next week. It was frustrating.

Exactly 1 week before Thanksgiving, the control panel on our 5 year old flat top Jenn Air (made by Maytag) range died. The burners still worked but the oven could not be turned on without a functioning control panel. A quick Internet search revealed that the control panels on these high end stoves have been going out in droves, consumers have accused Maytag of concealing a defect, but Maytag won't do anything about it after the first year when the stove is under warranty. Of course our stove was out of warranty.

It was too late to call that evening, so the next morning (Friday) after having checked with our neighborhood Yahoo group and Facebook friends, I tried 2 local appliance repair companies in Mountain View. Your Appliance Refrigeration & HVAC Repair was able to schedule us that very morning to come out and diagnose the problem. The other company couldn't make it until the following Tuesday (2 days before Thanksgiving) just to come and diagnose the problem. I am so thankful we called Your Appliance.

As I suspected, the control panel had to be replaced, but there was another part that wasn't working as well behind the control panel. Then came the task of trying to find the parts the week of Thanksgiving. The owner, Rovshon, kept me informed every step of the way, knowing how important it was to get the oven fixed for Thanksgiving dinner (of course we were hosting for our family this year). At first, the only control panel that he could find was in Kentucky and overnight shipping was going to be $100 on top of the cost of the $300 part. No thanks I said, I had a friend offer the use of her oven while she was going to be out of town and while it was less than ideal to have to haul a 20 pound turkey and fixings around town to use her oven, I wasn't ready to spend another $100 on overnight shipping. I though we would just suffer through and wait to get the repair the following week when the part arrived. But I was wrong.

To my surprise, Rovshon kept on calling around trying to find the part someplace closer and on Tuesday he called me again to say he had found the part in the East Bay and would drive to pick it up Wednesday morning, then come and install it on Wednesday afternoon. He showed upon on time on Wednesday, installed both parts, made sure the oven and burners were working properly. I was able to cook Thanksgiving dinner in my own kitchen. The repair was not cheap because of the price of the parts, but it was done on time, quickly and correctly.

Five days before Christmas, our Maytag oven quit working. Rovshan and his partner came out the same day we called, when we were desperate to have the oven fixed fast. My refrigerator stopped working on New Year's Day (wouldn't you know it, always a holiday!). We used Rovshan's services again within four months; this time, for the dryer. The timer went out. That means the dryer would dry continuously without stopping. Of course I used timers on my iPhone and household wind-up timers to monitor my loads, but really, a dryer is supposed to stop by itself. As a kid, I was subject to two house fires caused by appliances igniting, so I won't use any that aren't functioning optimally.

Rovshan visited once to assess the situation, and recommended not using the dryer until he replaced the timer. If the dryer were to keep going on and on without stopping, it could burn out the motor, causing us to need a new dryer. He visited again to install the new timer, which has worked beautifully ever since (almost a month now). Much like with the washer, the cost of the repair was nearly the cost of a new dryer, but we didn't want a new dryer when this one's only 4 yrs. young.

Hopefully 2013 will be a year without needing repairs, but if we do, it's great to know a great repair guy!

Rovshan and his worker came to my property to fix a refrigerator that was not cooling the fridge portion properly. When we opened the freezer, it looked like a freezer out of the 1950's, you know, a bit like a winter wonderland. It needed to be defrosted. Rovshan said that probably the door had been left open and in addition to all the frost that we were seeing in the freezer, ice was now blocking the area between the freezer and the fridge, thus now the cold air could not circulate from the freezer to the refrigerator area to cool it. He further stated that this would not require a part at all. All he needed to do was take something apart and clean out the ice. He did this no problem, didn't charge too much, was super polite, and he was correct in his diagnosis. It is over a month since he came by, and the tenant reports that all is well with her unit. I will use Rovshan again and hope that you do too.

I'm really happy that I called Your Appliance. My house heater died Saturday morning. I looked on Yelp, and called Rovshan. He scheduled a nice short time window to diagnose the problem. He replaced the dead part and now my house has heat. Better, not only did he get the problem fixed, he was great to work with. He and his assistant were cheerful and extremely courteous.

Our wine refrigerator lost power. We made many attempts to resolve the problem using phone tech support from Wine Enthusiast but didn't have any luck. Wine Enthusiast then recommended Your Appliance. I called and they were able to come out the next day at 5:00 so it didn't interfere too much with our work schedules. They arrived on time, were extremely courteous, diagnosed the problem and repaired it within an hour. We'll toast them when we open our next bottle of wine!

Absolutely stellar service from Rovshan. From start to finish it was an efficient, professional experience. I called him after reading his great Yelp reviews, and I had exactly the same five-star service that everyone has described here. He called me back when he said he would, he showed up when he said he would, he went and got a part and came right back just as he said he would. He explained what was wrong with my dryer and quoted me a price for the part that needed replacing. He said it was sold in a kit and would cost about $45. When he came back from the supplier, he said he'd been able to get the part alone without the kit, and charged me only $29.95. His basic rate and labor charge was right in line with what I expected to pay. Plus, he was very friendly, concientious and aware that good customer service is what it's all about. I will definitely use him again and recommend him to my friends.

Our fancy 7 year old refrigerator stopped working on Sunday night of a 3 day holiday weekend. On the holiday Monday morning i called a few places to try to get a fix as soon as possible. Even though he was taking the day off, Rovshan called me back and came out early that afternoon. He let us know up front what he thought the problem might be and potential pricing. Our washing machine was making a strange whooishing noise. Another appliance repair facility and plumber tried unsuccessfully to make it go away. We checked on yelp and found Rovshan's (the owner) business. With such great ratings, we had to give it a go and we are very happy with the results. Rovshan came out three times to assess/work on the issue and only charged us for one service call!!!! Today he came with the part he had ordered about 3 weeks ago and voila no more noise.

Our less than 4 year old Samsung washer went completely dead in the middle of a rinse cycle. Great experience! Our refrigerator had lost its oomph and wasn't cooling well at all. They were able to give us an appointment super quickly, and arrived well within the stated two-hour window. It took them only a few minutes to diagnose what was wrong. We needed to get a part replaced. They had to go to the warehouse to get the part, but they were back in under an hour. They fixed the refrigerator and now it's humming along. Parts and labor included, the call came to just about $300.

We had told them we also needed our dishwasher repaired. After poking around it a bit, the guy said, "Try this, it's a free fix, if it doesn't work I'll come back and take a closer look." We appreciated the fact that he didn't simply tell us we needed to go for the expensive fix with parts replaced, etc.

They were friendly and efficient, and they get especial props for taking off their shoes on entering the apartment without needing to be asked. We would have no hesitation calling them again when we next need a handyman.

The refrigerator side of my side-by-side refrigerator-freezer would not get cold. Your Appliance sent a repair crew the same day and quickly diagnosed the problem as a damper frozen in the closed position. They were able to service the damper assembly rather than replace it, thereby saving me $150.00. The crew was professional, courteous, and friendly. Like the other reviews, they are a professional company. Rovshan is honest and is a "customer first" vendor. I found out that my refrigerator had a warranty and he did not charge me for the service call. I will be going to them for all my appliance furture repairs.

When my 11-year-old GE Profile Arctica stopped being able to freeze ice cream I called these guys. Even though it was a weekend they said they would come over the next morning. Rovshan and his assistant Jacob arrived exactly on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. They opened up the back of the fridge and found the problem was a dirty condenser, which they thoroughly cleaned. Then they tested the refrigerator and found that it was now working but possibly needed more refrigerant, and asked me to keep an eye on it in the next few days. I then paid them their reasonable fee for the service call.

In the next couple of days I noticed that the refrigerator always seemed to be running when I opened the freezer compartment. I concluded that maybe the refrigerant was low and that was why the refrigerator was always running. I called them again and they came over with all of the equipment needed to add freon. However when they measured the freezer temperature they found that it was perfect. Then Rovshan explained to me that the constant running that I had observed was only the freezer fan becoming audible when I opened the freezer door -- and that was perfectly normal.

I tried to pay them for the extra service call, but Rovshan refused to accept any money, though I did get them to accept a cup of coffee! In addition to being extremely competent these guys are really nice -- Rovshan is the talkative extrovert, while Jacob exudes a shy charm.

While they were there I happened to mentioned that the igniter for one of the burners on my Viking gas range was sluggish. Rovshan insisted on fixing it on the spot for free! By the way if you call them, be sure to put on a fresh pot of coffee -- they are eager consumers!

My dryer was having issues and I had a possible idea of what was wrong with it, but I had a heck of a time finding a company that would look at a Samsung. I actually had to call 3 places till I found Rovshan.

The refrigerator in my rental was having problems. I explained the problem to Rovshan and he promised to contact the tenant and setup a time to take a look. He setup a time the next day and called me back to confirm he would be there. The next day he found the problem - called me back to explain the repair and how much it would cost. He was able to repair the fridge the same day and he followed up with tenant the following week to make sure everything was ok.

What more can you ask for!

We'd been having major squeaking from our old Maytag dryer for several months and finally it scraped my nerves beyond raw. Chose Rovshan because of the great reviews plus he's right around the corner. Called Rovshan on a Thursday and he said he could schedule me for that same afternoon which we couldn't do so we got a Friday afternoon appt. instead. My brother was there to meet Rovshan. He was very friendly and was able to get the job done quickly and we now have a wonderfully quiet dryer. Highly recommended.

When our GE dryer stopped working, I had that sinking feeling that I was not going to be able to find a reputable repair person (even through Yelp), or at least one that wouldn't take me for a ride with enormous "assessment" fees, high labor rates and ludicrous markups on parts. I tried getting personal referrals, but no one I know seemed to have ever had major appliance problems. I spent the better part of the day watching how-to videos on YouTube for disassembling and fixing a dryer. By late in the day, I had a half-way disassembled dryer on my hands and decided to give Yelp one last shot.

I came across Your Appliance... and was immediately suspicious of vendors on Yelp (again). What's the deal with all the five-star ratings? How did this business manage to wipe clean the negative ratings?

Well, now I know. There has probably never been a negative rating for Rovshan and his team. Rovshan actually answered the phone hiimself when I called. His first words weren't a condescending spiel about charging me to come out and take a look at the problem before committing to any work.

Instead, Rovshan listened to the problem I described, offered some potential diagnoses, looked at his schedule and offered to stop by after his last appointment of the day (instead of heading straight home to dinner with his family, as I later learned).

When he and his partner Eli arrived, they didn't tear into my dryer looking for a "big fix," but rather spent time methodically root-causing the problem. As it turns, out the problem wasn't with my dryer, but with the electrical wiring in the building's dryer circuit. They managed to defeat the intermittent wiring bug and get the dryer running again.

They reassembled my dryer for me (the same dryer I had already partially disassembled), reconnected the venting and called it a day. Rovshan and Eli didn't look for ways to turn this into a huge bill. In fact they barely accepted payment for their time.

Thankfully, I didn't need any appliances repaired this time, but based on my initial interaction with Rovshan, his professionalism and the respect with which he treated me, I know that as soon as I do eventually need a major repair, I will not hesitate to call on Your Appliance... and pay them their due.

We hired Your Appliance to install a new, high-end dishwasher. They were able to squeeze us in short notice, which was very appreciated. They really took the time to do a careful job, and made sure I was satisfied with the positioning/alignment, and installation before leaving. Because they are detail and customer oriented, and their prices are reasonable, I give Rovshan and his team five stars!

Best appliance repair experience I have had. They were on time -- and proactively brought a part I didn't know I would need, based on my description of the problem. Seemed very smart and customer-friendly!

I had a problem with my AC unit. The guys came, did troubleshooting and found that it was a very complicated refrigerant leek. They did't have proper equipment to fix the issue, but they refer me to someone who could fix it and they didn't charge me ANY money for the visit. It turns out that their diagnoses were right and it saved me money for the final repars. Highly recommend them.

A/C was out. Based on Yelp reviews I decided to call them. Was a scorching hot Thursday, so they were undoubtedly getting a lot of calls, but they were able to schedule me for Saturday morning. Very courteous and professional, they quickly diagnosed the problem, identified the part they needed, and within 30 minutes had the part from the supplier, installed it, and were on their way. Excellent experience overall.

5 Stars because (1) the technician is on time, (2) The technician immediately grasps the problem with my refrigerator, (3) the technicial takes a picture of the problem area because I can't bend down that far, (4) the technician explains the situation so that I can understand and gives advice about how to monitor and prevent the problem from happening again, and (5) the technician promises not to charge labor again for returning to fine tune the same issue.

I created a Yelp profile just so I could leave this review. The central air in my townhome stopped working right as this most recent heatwave swept through the area. I called the five best rated AC repair services nearby and Rovshan was the first to respond and he also offered to come by 1-2 days sooner than next two quickest businesses. Rovshan and his assistant arrived exactly within the timeframe we agreed upon. Since my AC went from working perfectly fine to not cooling the air at all--seemingly overnight--I assumed my unit would need a lengthy, expensive overhaul. However within moments of undoing the panel on my air conditioner they deduced that I had a blown high-voltage capacitor whose replacement entailed just the 20-30 minutes to obtain the correct component from their nearest vendor. After swapping out the capacitor my AC is working great again. And their rate seemed very reasonable considering the impact their work has made on what promises to be the start of a very long, hot summer wherein I plan to rely on my AC like nobody's business. I would definitely call Rovshan if needed again and I've already begun recommending him to my friends and family as well.

We called Your Appliance based on the yelp reviews after our refrigerator was no longer working. Our initial call was returned promptly and Rovshan and associate quickly called upon us to assess the problem. It turned out that our refrigerator (more than 15 years old) needed replacement. Nevertheless, we felt that Rovshan made a every attempt at reasonable cost to repair the problem and appropriately advised us when the cost of repair and risk of continuing problems outweighed the benefit of proceeding with buying a new refrigerator. I asked for a look at the dishwasher, which had not been operating well, and maintenance was done on this at a very reasonable price. I will not hesitate in the future to call this business for any appliance or Hvac issues in the future.

To make a long story short, these guys fixed my A/C that has been broken for a while and that I've called MULTIPLE other A/C repair guys out to come fix. I AM SO HAPPY! They also have a 1 year warranty, which is great. I will definitely call them out for future issues with appliances in my home.

I found these good Yelp reviews true. I selected this vendor from Yelp and was pleased with the result. The duo arrived on time, analyzed, diagnosed and confirmed a bad start up capacitor issue with the AC unit. As the part was an odd combo part, a new one was not readily available, they expertly fabricated and installed a suitable replacement from available parts with the same spec. I was joyous when the unit sprang to back to life; it now works as it should. I want another 5 years of use from this unit. They communicate; are amiable, reasonable, competent, and are concerned achieving good client satisfaction.

This company deserves a higher than 5 star rating. I was house/pet sitting when the owner's refrigerator died. I called Your Appliance because of their excellent Yelp rating and was certainly not disappointed. The repairmen arrived and couldn't have been more polite and efficient. The homeowners, who are out of the country for several more weeks, trusted my judgement as to setting a cap on the cost of repairs. After determining that one of the replacement parts would be $500 (not including labor), Eli agreed that the appliance was too old and it would be far more cost effective to purchase new. To my total surprise and delight, the bill was less than I've paid for a house call 20 years ago! Eli, the very soft spoken repair gentleman, said that the most important thing to this company is forming a trusting relationship with their customers. Very smart. I've already told at least 10 neighbors about them and I'm posting this review. I'm so impressed that I may well feature a referral in my own biz newsletter. Needed first time charge for an AC I had installed. Because of a problem with the install they had to come back a second time. Eli & Yazub were right on time for both appointments, did the work quickly and efficiently, cost was very fair. I'll call these guys first for any future appliance repairs.

I found this place on YELP when my dishwasher ran into issues as its very close to my house. Rovshan sent his people within the next two days and they replaced the dishwasher detergent dispenser. After they left, the dishwasher problem was still not resolved, and i called Rovshan. The real test of service is how someone responds to you once they have got the money. I was pleasantly surprised. Rovshan, came himself the next day, worked hard, ordered another part, came back the same day replaced it and fixed my dishwasher. He was very reliable, kind and thorough. I would highly recommend Your Appliance as the owner is honest, dependable and thorough.

Great service. Had a leak that I thought was my fridge, but was not. Ended up servicing the fridge, answering a lot of questions and fix a stove burner. All for a reasonable price. Eli and Yagub were awesome. I will call them again.

We had inherited a front loader washing machine and it had mold buildup on the door seal. I tried a couple of companies that were referred by our contractor but none of them would repair LG machines. I found Roshvan's company on Yelp with really strong reviews. He was very helpful over the phone and had a flexible schedule (next appt as early as the next day). He came with a partner and they finished the job within the estimated time and even came with an extra part in case I had made a mistake on the model number. I have been using the washing machine for over 3 months and everything works fine. I would definitely contact him again for future appliance repairs.

I read the reviews and they are true! I feared the worst thinking it would be cheaper to replace my dryer than repair it .Not only were they knowledgeable and fixed it but the price was incredibly affordable AND he took the time to explain to me what was wrong so i understood what he was doing! 1 year guarantee on the parts and labor too! Just sold my house and needed the dishwashing soap dispenser fixed on my KitchenAid Dishwasher. These guys did a great job, were able to locate the part with a supplier they use same day and did the install without a hitch. Very friendly. Just realize that appliance repair can be expensive. Its just one of those things in life you have to accept.... like buying car tires! LoL! I know this from doing repairs myself using parts ordered from the internet. I decided to use Your Appliance because I didn't want to spend the time trouble shooting then ordering the wrong part or worse receive a defective on in the mail... so you do pay a little more for the know how, labor and the part..... but it is guaranteed... you get what you pay for remember! Called these guys to fix a washing machine that wasn't filling all the way. Super professional, friendly, and they solved the problem fast. Eli also knocked $10 off the price because he had arrived slightly late. I would use them again without question.

Found them on Yelp. My Sub Zero refrigerator drawers stopped cooling. I made an appt and they came on time and added freon to my unit. They did not leave until they were sure the drawers were at the right temperature. Highly recommended.

My Samsung dryer broke, so I called Your Appliance R&HVAC Repair based on the Yelp reviews and scheduled an appointment. Eli and his associate were here on time and quickly identified problem, got the replacement part from the store and fixed it. All in under 2 hours. They were very friendly and professional and clearly knew what they were doing. Their work and parts come with 1 year warranty - all other appliance repair people I've used gave me 30 or 60 days. We have a front loading LG washing machine that started to cause us some grief. Based on the numerous positive Yelp reviews, I decided to call Your Appliance. Rovshan came out the next morning and spent some quality time explaining what was causing the problem once he had a chance to inspect everything. Replacement of one part was unavoidable and the price was reasonable. I felt comfortable that he cares a lot about providing a good service. He's also a nice guy.

They repaired our GE Monogram refrigerator last year, and today, they repaired our Jennair dishwasher. They called me back quickly from my first call, and were able to schedule a visit within just a few days. They were on time, friendly, and repaired the dishwasher in less than an hour! They also saved me money on the bottom tray. They were able to move some of the wheels around on the bottom tray so that it worked, instead of telling me I needed a new bottom tray. I highly recommend them based on their work over the past two services.

Eli and Yagub were polite and professional. They diagnosed what's wrong with my dryer and fixed it on the same day. The price was reasonable. I would use them again and refer them to friends.

We've had trouble with our freezer section of the refrigerator in April, I called Rovshan and he came over the same day. He fixed the alignment of the freezer door for a reasonable rate. We had the same problem 2 days ago, his services were guaranteed and he fixed it again for no charge. I would call him again with any appliance repair. He is efficient and knowledgeable.

We've used Your Appliance a couple of times now, once to repair our wine refrigerator and once to repair our microwave (what's up with simple appliances breaking, gee whiz!). Each time they did excellent work at a reasonable price. Very courteous and go the extra mile. For the microwave, they had to find a schematic online and do some homework before attempting the repair. For the wine refrigerator, they let me buy the required part online to save money, then they installed it. I recommend them highly.

I had Eli and his assistant come to fix our refrigerator's in-door ice dispenser and our wine refrigerator's temperature control. Both men were efficient, kind, and knowledgeable. Eli gave clear explanations of what the problems were and upfront about the likely cost. In the end, they were able to repair both refrigerators without any additional parts. I would definitely use their service again.

These guys are AWESOME. I usually only write reviews to warn people if I have a bad experience.. but these guys impressed me so much that I just had to give them a good write up. They came and quickly found the problem with my freezer was a bad circuit board.. they took the time to double check with the manufacturer and found there is an extra circuit that is unused on the board so the wired to to that. Saved me a bunch of money and the time of waiting for parts. A+++ work. VERY honast and reasonable in their rates.

Friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating servicemen. My dishwasher broke down and they were quick to diagnose the problem. I opted to buy a new dishwasher and they came back to install the machine at a discount.

This is the first time I have used this repair company.

Unlike any repair company I have worked with, they did indeed call me during my two hour window to tell me exactly when they'd be at my house (and then came!).
I was pretty sure I'd have to replace our dryer which is already old, and up and quit one day. Eli and Yagub diagnosed the problem quickly, went out themselves to get the faulty part, and fixed the machine directly.

I would agree with the other reviews: friendly, knowledgable and accommodating. I will call them with our next broken appliance.

I called Your Appliance, etc. after discovering that my heating was not working. And after calling another highly rated company who said they were booked up for 3 weeks. The gentleman offered me several 2 hour slots and finally said he thought he could come later that day. He called to say he was on his way. He arrived with another gentleman and the 2 of them spent at least an hour to get me heat up and working. Price was reasonable and there is a 3 month warranty on service. Very nice people. I highly recommend the service.

Rovshan came within 3 hours of calling him and replaced the furnace igniter in my home to get the central heat working again. His price of $271 was comparable to what I've seen on the web for costs for such work.

Called them after hours and they returned call that evening. Set up an appointment and they arrived on time. Fixed our washer, no hassles. Price was fair. They are definitely on the list to call back for any other appliance repairs.

I only contacted this company based on other reviewers' feedback so I hope other potential customers find this review as useful as I found the rest.

We called Your Appliance Repair company yesterday after PG&E disconnected the gas to our oven, the week before Thanksgiving, for our own safety. It turns out that igniters have an estimated 3-5 year working life, and ours was at the end of its life. This was all explained by Rovshan and his asst. Elihim (sp?) as they tested the voltage on the igniter and diagnosed the problem and performed the repair. Great people, cordial, trustworthy, fair and honest. They will be first on our call list if another appliance stops working.

Eli and Yagub came out within 24 hrs of my phone call. They were determined to fix my very old Maytag commercial dryer. I think most repairmen would have said just replace it. It had a few shorts in the wiring due to age which they were able to fix with no problem. They are highly skilled and very professional. So glad to have found them.

Very prompt and courteous service at a very fair price. Our oven broke the week before Thanksgiving. We asked them to call us if they had a cancellation before our scheduled appointment, which they did. They arrived exactly when they said they would, knew exactly what they were doing and had the problem solved in under an hour without having to buy any parts, and they warranty their work for 90 days. Will definitely use them again.

My GE stacked dryer stopped heating. I called around noon on Friday and they returned my call before the end of the day. We confirmed an appointment for Tuesday via text. Eli and Yasub (I think) showed up a bit early, but that was fine with me. They sized up the situation and gave a fixed price for the labor since there were many unknowns due to the dryer's location. It seemed a good deal so they got to work.

In less than an hour, they determined the heating element was destroyed, so they called and got an estimate for the part and let me know. They picked up the part in San Carlos and brought it back. They were on the job for about 2.5 hours in total and my dryer is now running perfectly. I'd definitely use them again. Professional, clean, fast.

Our Bosch dishwasher was not draining so I called them over the weekend to leave a message. Someone picked up the phone and schedule us for Tuesday. They showed up in the appointment time specified and got to work. They cleaned out the drain life as some food has gotten stuck. They even gave me a discount because my husband had attempted to fix the problem. They're very good and honest about repairing the appliance, and they didn't try to sell you anything unnecessary. I used to call Sears, but each time they always try to sell me additional service contracts and they weren't as responsive as these guys. Definitely call them if you need any repairs. They know what they're doing.

I have been using "Your Appliance" for at least two years now and cannot say enough about their integrity and commitment to great service. They are competent and reasonable. Most recently, our HVAC has faced some challenging issues...difficult to diagnose. Ravshan has been out several times to trouble shoot and always stands by his work, never nickel-and-diming me for the (considerable) additional time to get it right. Good service is a rare commodity these days and Your Appliance delivers exactly that.

The tag line on the Your Appliance ... business card is "We fix it right [the] first time." Okay, that's over-reaching a bit because sometimes things happen that you can't control. However, even when things go a bit awry, Your Appliance Refrigeration & HVAC Repair makes things right.

This is a VERY small business, but it's run very well. When you call Rovshan the recording says to leave your name and number if you want a call back within 24 hours; I have never waited longer than that for a call back.

The guy listens AND pays attention. He will try to narrow his diagnosis of what's wrong in advance, to save time. However, if things come up that are unexpected, they are pursued immediately and the situation dealt with without delay.

I've called Your Appliance Refrigeration and HVAC Repair twice in the past year, both times for a cranky dryer that is part of an old Kenmore stack unit. Each time they've responded quickly, the appointment was made within a reasonable span of time, and repairs effected without delay.

In this most recent go-around, there were two minor problems that arose after the main repair, but Rovshan and his technicians, Eli and Yaqub, kept coming back until the machine worked properly.

It's a pleasure to work with them!

You cannot beat their promptness!

Our furnace broke on New Years Eve, and the company we've used previously (also very highly Yelp rated) were closed for another week of holiday; so I called Your Appliance who said they'd be open on Jan 2. I left a voice message, with little hope that we'd get any attention very soon, since I'm sure there'd be a lot of holiday backup.

But no, on New Year's *Day* I get a call - he's not even supposed to be working! Not only that, they can schedule the next day "11 to 1". Sure enough, at 11:00 on the dot, they're there (Eli and Yasub). They were very thorough investigated and confirmed the problem (which was what I suspected it was), and they got the furnace back in operation without having to replace the part - saving me money.

As long as I had them there, I had them look at my refrigerator, whose ice maker had stopped. They confirmed that the water inlet valve had gone bad, and said they'd get a replacement for me. I expected it to be a few days, but they called me *later the same day*! They said they had the part in hand, and if I didn't mind it being a little late, they could come over right then; they did, working from 6-7PM, saving me another day of having to stay home from work to wait for a service call.

They were professional, respectful, and clean in working in our house. Would definitely use again!

They just left my house and did an excellent job fixing a "non standard" problem with the water supply to the ice maker. They showed up on time (and they called before arriving too!), surveyed the issue and came up with an inventive way to fix it instead of spending many hundreds of dollars to disassemble the refrigerator. Although they didn't have a part needed for the innovative approach, they left, bought the small part and came back within the hour to finish the job. Nice guys too. Definitely recommend them.

This goes for two review. They fixed my Fridge about a year ago and more recently my Gas Heater. They have recently expanded into two teams. There is little to say. They are super nice guys trying to make it here. I think they said they are form Kazakhstan. Regardless. Last year it was only two of them and one guy did all the talking. Now the guy fixing most is running his own crew.

They are super over qualified (if that makes sense)for their job. The guys that came to my house are like crazy good engineers and are working this job because their credential don't transfer. I swear that they learn that appliance or what ever you need fixed right there and then and can get it done if they have the part need one. Heck if you had a power plant that needed fixing they could figure it out in a couple of hours.

They are super pro. Will do all they can to fix your broken appliance. They stayed the first day form 5pm till 7:40pm. At like 7pm I wanted to tell them to leave and try it another day but they were set on fixing it. I have a really old heating system that is all shades of messed up

All I can say is these guys are awesome, respectful, and over qualified. Price seems right and they are super qualified for what they do. I have called them whenever something breaks.

These guys are simply the best! My drier wasn't working and I called them and spoke with the owner Rovshan, who listened to my problem very patiently and then came over with his fellow technician Ilham and figured out the problem with the dryer and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Other businesses that I have contacted in the past have not been as efficient or as knowledgeable as these guys, and I could tell that they were very experienced from the way they were explaining me the problem with the dryer. I'm glad I found this company and I will work with them in the future if I have other appliance problems. I highly recommend you to give Rovshan a call if you have any kind of appliance problem and I guarantee that you will be satisfied with their service.

Great service, very friendly. I have several problems with my refrigerator. Rovshan had to visit three times to get all solved. Now my refrigerator works like a brand new one and saved me $$$ from buying a new one. Rovshan is so sweet that he even replaced the light bulb for me free of charge. Well deserved reputation on Yelp!

Rovshan solved our problem in a distressing situation--we had an 18" Danby dishwasher in a rental unit. Sears came out for a repair call, then they told us they didn't work on this brand! Surely they could have figured this out in advance! So, Yelp to the rescue! Your Appliance Repair had a 5-star rating, and over 80 reviews, including praise for dishwasher repair, so I decided to give them a try.

Rovshan returned my call within about an hour, and was able to come out the same day. He determined that the unit had been discontinued, and the parts were no longer available. He gave us a break on the price, since he couldn't really solve our problem. But he said he would apply his fee as credit toward an installation if we bought a new machine. So I did go back to Sears, as we've bought most large appliances from them for years, but decided to have Rovshan do the installation.

He was so accommodating! I needed to change the day and time twice, because of tenant schedule changes, but he responded quickly and didn't seem to mind. I texted with him, which was a quick and easy way for us to communicate.

When he did come out, he obviously really knew what he was doing! He adapted the mounting system from the old machine to the new one, saving us the additional expense of purchasing the $30 Sears kit. He wasn't able to take away the old machine (Sears does this for $10), but we can dispose of it N/C through Recology using their large-item occasional pickup service.

It was so obvious that he really understood the way everything worked, and didn't seem fazed by a couple of challenges that came up during the installation. He wasn't just following the manual--he understood intuitively what to do.

I will certainly call this company next time I need an appliance repair service! Their per-transaction fee might not be the very cheapest you could find, but the VALUE is exceptional!

I have called Your appliance and repair twice now, the first time Eli and another man whose name I have forgotten. They are polite, smart, friendly and professional. They explained clearly what might be wrong with my fridge, and fixed it quickly. Now there's a new problem with the fridge and Roshvan came out solo the same day I called.. He had to do a quite a bit of diagnosis, explaining the whole time what he was doing. Then he clearly explained my options which included buying a new fridge if the repairs turned out to be expensive. He gave me a discount on the service charge, called the next day and the cost of repair was cheaper than he expected. I'm waiting today to finish the repair, but I have confidence that all will go smoothly, or if not Roshvan will do his absolute best to fix it.

When I called the second time and told them that they had worked for me before they were absolutely charming and thanked me profusely for being a return customer. It's really wonderful working with such charming men who are trust worthy and efficient and as another reviewer said, way over qualified.

These guys are a god send. We've had intermittent problems with our furnace for over a year. Called a couple of repair companies, and both said that our furnace is obsolete and couldn't be fixed. They quoted us $3000-4000 to replace it. Since we are thinking of remodeling in the near future (and the weather was getting warmer), we just lived with it.

Unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago, it gave out completely and the fan wouldn't come on at all. We thought there was no choice but to replace it, and i started calling for quotes. I called Rovshon because of the positive reviews here, and he came to take a look right away, and said it could be fixed!

Even though the parts needed were obsolete, Rovshon was able to find similar parts that worked. And now we have a working furnace for a few hundred $$ of repair work, instead of thousands of $$ for a new furnace.

I couldn't be happier with the service we received, and would definitely call them in the future since they seemed to be able to fix anything. I even plan to get some brownie points by recommending them to my extended family :)

These guys are awesome. When my oven mysteriously stopped heating up, I booked an appointment online for a time slot the next day and payed a $75 deposit through Paypal. It turns out that the time you select through their online booking system is actually the beginning of a two hour time window during which they will arrive, which seems reasonable but wasn't completely clear when I booked. Luckily I received a confirmation email and text that clarified the situation.

Anyway, the next day they called to ask if they could come early since they were already in the neighborhood, which worked out great. Rovshan (the owner) and Yagub were both warm and friendly. They figured out what was wrong with my oven pretty quickly (the control board needed to be replaced), quoted me a price for the parts and labor (from which they deducted my $75 deposit), and scheduled a time for the next day to come back and complete the repair.

The next day they arrived on time and finished the job in about 45 minutes. My oven works again! They were great to work with and made the whole process as quick and easy as possible. I can't say much about their pricing since I've never had an oven control board replaced before, but the cost seemed comparable to other estimates I found online. Next time one of my appliances breaks I will definitely call these guys again.

I booked my Furnace debug/repair appointment on the the website. Worked perfectly. The booking of the appointment gave me some times to choose from and the tech arrived within 30 minutes of the appointment.

You book an appointment and it takes you to paypal to pay the $75 call out fee. Great.

The only thing that could be better is an email confirmation from the company that the tech will be there between X and Y times but since the tech showed up on time anyway, it was no problem.

The tech looked at my furnace, immediately diagnosed the igniter failure and gave me a price and fixed it within 25 minutes. then, an email receipt.

Absolute great service. My refrig stopped making ice and they did a thorough diagnosis. They told me how much it would cost me to repair and advised that it would make more sense to buy a new refrig and it made perfect sense with the detailed info. Very friendly, polite and most of all very well educated and honest. Top hat!

Eli was terrific! Arrived just a few minutes prior to the 1pm appointment and started to work diagnosing the problem with my 14 year old stove. Located issue of malfunctioning igniter and took care of it on the spot with part in hand.

I called with a non-functional furnace; Rovshan was at the door 20 minutes later (it probably helped that I lived only a few blocks away) and found and fixed some burnt-out wiring. Shortly afterwards we had heat again, hurray.

I have struggled with getting someone to tell me what was wrong with my fridge for over a year. I have had countless people come over and give me a different diagnosis and every single time after that it would break again.

Rovshan came over one day and diagnosed the problem within minutes. He ordered the part came back and fixed it. The fees were very reasonable and the service was impeccable. He even cleaned out part of my fridge, which he really didn't need to.

I used Yelp to help me find the perfect company to fix my built in microwave oven. Everyone rated them with 5 stars. Now I know why. The two men took apart the microwave with confidence. Not sure how long their company has been around, but I could tell they definitely have experience. Unfortunately, they weren't able to diagnose the problem, so he gave me a refund. That was really awesome. I definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

My KitchenAid was a 1997 model and he said even if he could diagnose it the parts will probably not be available anymore or too expensive. Even when I contacted the warranty department KitchenAid said they no longer carry those parts .

I guess it's time for a new built-in.

Rovshan was able to re-arrange the schedule and come over to fix a our dishwasher very quickly. He found a broken part and found he could get it from a supply house nearby. The repair was done efficiently and I am happy with what he charged and the resulting work.

On a Sunday afternoon, our refrigerator stopped working. After browsing reviews for repair service companies on Yelp, I scheduled an appointment online with Rovshan's company (Your Appliance Refrigeration & Hvac Repair) for the next day at 3:00 pm. On Monday afternoon, Rovshan called me at 1:30 pm to ask if he could come by earlier, I said "Yes". He arrived within 15 minutes and diagnosed the issue within the next 15 minutes. He called a parts supplier to find the part, and then left to pick it up. He repaired our refrigerator within a couple hours of arriving at our home. Rovshan's service was excellent, and he was very prompt and professional. We're happy to know who to call the next time we need one of our home appliances repaired!

This is the second time we have used Your Appliance for our washing machine and like the first time Rovshan's service was impeccable. He really comes from the old repair school of wanting to fix machines vs throwing them out and only buying new ones. His approach to problem solving is truly deductive and he completely communicates his analysis of the situation and strategy to fix the problem to the customer thoroughly. He has a lovely authenticity about him, a true understanding of his trade and a will to complete his job well done. He is also very respectful of one's home and has a lovely, happy disposition.

True engineers who know what they're doing. Eli and Yagub saved me the price of a new washing machine by diagnosing the problem as a plumbing one, and showed me exactly what I needed to have done. My maching wasn't fixed - only because it wasn't broken in the first place.

Booked the appointment online, had one available the next day and they even arrived a little earlier than the scheduled time. There was a $75 deposit when I booked online but it was subtracted from the payment for parts and labor. He was professional and knowledgable. A part was needed, he called his supplier, left to get the part and returned within the hour. I'm very happy to recommend this business. My HVAC is now working great and I have cokd air!!! :-)

I used this company to repair my LG refrigerator (several other repair companies don't work on LG). Rovshan was able to come out the same afternoon of the day I called. He figured out the problem, went to get the part, and came back to install it ALL on a Friday afternoon. He is friendly and professional - a pleasure to work with. The cost was comparable to other repair companies, but the customer service was far superior. Though I hope I don't have another appliance break, I will definitely use Rovshan if I do.

Ilham and his colleague were very courteous & fast in evaluating the problem with our (difficult to get to) stacked washer. They clearly were knowledgable. My microwave died, and after setting up an online appointment (which works really well) the team arrived on time. Two guys showed up to fix a built-in microwave - perfect. To cut a long story short, the microwave needed a new part, they returned and replaced it. The microwave - altho' working, was a fire hazard, and needed to be replaced. At this point, to be fair, they had done what they were asked to do and were entitled to labor and parts remuneration. Rovshan came himself to explain it to me, and offered to install my new microwave for free the following week. HIs team arrived on time to do it, and then he cut his costs and charged me a lot less than he could have for the entire fiasco which was no-one's fault.
The team is punctual, friendly and efficient. If only there were more service people in the Bay Area with a work and business ethic like Rovshan. HIghly recommend.

I paid a deposit of $75 for repairing my parent's refrigerator. Then it worked within 24-hr service cancellation window. I asked for the refund of $75 via email and phone. Rovshan treated it as an exceptional case and returned my money. His understanding is greatly appreciated!

I am very happy with my experience with Your Appliance Repair. My wine cabinet cooling unit was not blowing cold air. Since these units cost about $1,000 for a new one, I wanted to try and fix it. I set up an online appointment and then I brought the unit to Rovshan's place. Rovshan had to add a freon charging port to my unit and then he was able to charge the unit and determine that it had a leak. He explained my options and the associated costs. At first I decided to scrap the unit because he was not sure if the unit would hold freon. But when I came to pick up the unit to recycle it, Rovshan had done an experiment at his own cost. He decided to install a sealant into the system. He demonstrated to me that his experiment was working. So I took the unit home and then I will put it back in my cabinet and I will run it for a few weeks. If it works, Rovshan says I can pay him for the parts and labor (he gave me a discount). If not, I just pay him for the parts. Very fair. I will certainly go back to Your Appliance Repair in the future.

My stove broke down and I came to Yelp for the appliance repair. I found Your Appliance Refrigeration & Hvac Repair is rated 5 stars, and I do think they worth it.
Although my stove didn't have any big problem, the guy still was very patient and try to make everything safe. He was very professional and he explained all the problems to me. He also gave me the most cost effective choices to get the stove repaired. It was a very great experience.

Rovshan was fantastic. He showed up early to our appointment because we needed our refrigerator fixed since we had medication we needed to keep cool - and was polite, friendly, neat and and thorough.

I called around noon, and by 5pm two guys arrived and replaced the broken switch on my clothes dryer. It cost $175 but the service was great. The online appointment scheduler worked great. Other appliance servicers said it would take several days before they could send a repair person.

My refrigerator was having problems holding the proper temperature. I booked an appointment with Your Appliance online. I wrote a brief description of the problem with the refrigerator model number in the booking comment section. They arrived on time for the appointment and asked me about the problem as written. They went about their diagnostic - very thoroughly and concluded that the Freon was likely low. They had the owner Rovshan come by to supervise and instruct the refill as the technician had not done this type of work before. Rovshan was very good at instructing the repair and he also explained the process to me with good detail. After the recharge the refrigerator was able able to reach the proper temperature and hold it.

I would recommend their service to anyone in need of a repair. They were prompt - knowledgeable - courteous and efficient. The owner is service oriented and it reflects in his technicians.

I arranged for Your Appliance Repair to repair my Kenmore front loading washer based of the many glowing reviews here on Yelp. I booked and paid for the appointment via their convenient website. They showed up on time and when the drain hose I had ordered in advance from Sears Parts Direct did not arrive in time as promised, they were able to obtain the part from their local supplier within an hour and complete the repair in the same visit. They also took the extra effort of cleaning out the drain and found and fixed an additional problem. They were quick, courteous, professional and upfront on the cost which I found to be very reasonable. I highly recommend Your Appliance Repair.

Our dryer died. Not knowing who to call for a repair, I came to Yelp and found these guys with over a hundred reviews and still at five stars. I figured I would give them a try.

I booked a service appointment online and paid the service fee via PayPal. They showed up exactly at the start of the appointment window and spent over two hours taking my dryer apart and testing every single component, checking the circuit, etc. They couldn't figure out what was wrong and seemed truly baffled by it. They apologized and refunded the entire service fee, not even accepting a tip.

Although I still don't have a working dryer (I guess we'll be calling for an electrician next), I feel like I can trust these guys to be honest with me and will definitely be calling them the next time I need an appliance repair.

The business owner contacted me with a phone call and sincerely apologized for what transpired and offered a refund. The owner seemed genuine in trying to resolve the issue and hear my side of the story in addition to explaining the miscommunication that might have occurred. Again, as I stated before, my situation was not a common case which probably led to the technicians being unsure about how to handle the situation, and the owner assured me that they made an effort to ensure that what happened to me won't happen to anyone else in the future. I'm happy with how this was resolved so I will be willing to give them another chance in the future to earn my 5 stars.

these guys were excellent. they showed up on time, did a great job, tried to save me money and made me laugh. they had the parts they needed to fix my washer in their van - so no coming back or wait time. i would use them again without question. all the reviews are right... if you have an issue with your broken stuff - call them...

I own and manage apartments and whenever I have a problem with an appliance I use Your Appliance Refrigeration & HVAC Repair. They are always on time and show up at the tenant's unit ready to troubleshoot the problem. They will tell you what is wrong and what costs will or may occur. Once they have your approval, they quickly get to work and fix the appliance and even clean up afterwards.

This business has a great website now that includes online booking for appointments where customers can select the available times! This is so incredibly convenient being able to book online and not have to worry about waiting for a repairman to call you back just to make an appointment.

I'm very satisfied with the job done by two professional technicians, Eli and Yagub, who came over to fix my Maytag dryer. They were very competent, working thoroughly and spent more than 2 hours to complete the full maintenance and put everything back together. It was not easy because I have a very confined space for my washer and dryer. I'll definitely call them if I need my other appliances fixing.

I was all set to buy a new dryer because mine stopped heating, but saw the Yelp reviews and decided I'd give these guys a shot. Setting up an appointment was easy on-line -- they charge $75 to come by for a diagnostic, which seems fair, and you can apply it against any fix. They came by on time, very polite, and spent an hour taking the dryer apart and inspecting. Told me they thought it was the coil and explained exactly how much it would cost to replace it, applied my $75 credit, and then finished the work. Dryer now works. They also cleaned it out and lubed it. then they gave me an electronic receipt and mailed to me on the spot. Saved money. Saved environment by not having to throw away a dryer that needed a couple small parts. I'm a happy camper.

Needed repair of the water line for the ice maker in my built in refrigerator/freezer.
I made the appointment on line and had to coordinate with the movers so there was access to the rear of the unit.
Eli showed up as promised and immediately diagnosed the problem. He did not have the necessary parts on hand so he went to the closest hardware store and got what he needed. He also identified two other potential problems which he took care of. The refrigerator/freezer had to complete a three hour cycle to make sure that any water leaks were taken care of. That night I discovered that there was still a small water problem due to the age of the unit. I sent an e-mail to Eli that night. He showed up the next morning and repaired the small leak.

Bosch dishwasher broke two weeks ago - wouldn't turn on...I initially booked through the website but my husband insisted on trying to fix it himself after watching a YouTube video and ordered an expensive part from Sears. Because it was before the 24hr cancellation window, I was able to cancel the appointment and got my $75 fee refunded - very easy. After two weeks of having no dishwasher and being unable to fix the thing ourselves - I said ENOUGH!

I booked this morning for an appointment this afternoon. They came, they looked, they stated a fair price for labor - said we never needed that expensive part, figured out what was wrong and fixed it in less than an hour.

My GE refrigerator had a broken ice maker and water was blocked somewhere in the chain and not being dispensed.. Rovshan charged reasonably and made multiple visits to ensure both issues were fixed.

Fariz and Yagup were great. They diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher as needing a $75 replacement part. They went to pick it up, came back, and were able to repair the dishwasher without needing the new part to save us $75! They were friendly, courteous and professional. Good find!

I have a 30 year old Maytag washer that was leaking water. I made an appointment with Your Appliance Repair on their website and paid the $75 fee for the diagnostic, which will be deducted from the work to be done. The technicians were on time at the appointed hour. After 20 minutes of work, Yagub and Fariz explained that they could fix the washer but needed to get a part and could be back after 5:00 pm if we chose to fix it. We decided to fix it and they were back by 5:00 with the part. After 30 minutes of hard labor they said they could not because the central shaft was frozen in place by 30 years of rust. They put everything back together and cleaned up the mess. They returned the new parts for credit. I didn't think the $75 covered their time and offered to pay them more but, they would not accept more. Yagub and Fariz were pleasant and explained everything to us. Even though they were not able to fix the washer I would highly recommend these two technicians.

These guys are excellent! We had an inconsistent issue with the draining of our dishwasher. They came promptly and did a thorough error analysis. The problem turned out to be quite tricky to identify and it took them a couple of sessions to fully address (fixed price though). Most impressive was that they never gave up! Since then the dishwasher runs like new. Highly recommended!

Eli came in yesterday to fix our washer (we have the Kenmore HE2 Plus and it was showing an error code F33 - which the book said was a bad drainage pump). They showed up within 15 minutes of the start of the window. Eli and his colleague were incredibly professional, diagnosed the problem, had to go and get a part, fixed the issue and our washer is working perfectly. I could not be happier with these guys and strongly recommend them. Very courteous, professional and ethical!!

We had a broken dryer that we really wanted repaired, not to replace. They did initially misdiagnose the part that was malfunctioning, but the amazing part was they admitted the mistake, ordered the correct part, and still replaced the motor as they had damaged the original after thinking it was broken. Yes, THEY paid for the motor!!

I will definitely call them again for any appliance needs! Also, the web booking service is easy and trouble free, don't get skittish when you see they collect the $75 in advance...it's fair and applied to your visit.

Outstanding Service. Made the appointment and two guys showed up right at 9am. They took the stove top completely apart, evaluating all possibilities and determined the problem. Gave me a repair price including the purchase of the bad part, we agreed, and they were back within a few hours to fix the Stove Top good as new. I am very happy to have found these guys. UPDATED: I just received a call from the owner of Your Appliance addressing all of my complaints in my review.
He was very polite on the phone and said that their primary goal was to regain my trust and confidence.
He addressed all of my complaints, explained what went on from his technicians point of view, and listened to everything I had to say.

He said that he had a meeting with all his technicians addressing my concerns and said that he made it clear to everyone that they should tell the customer any extra possible costs BEFORE starting the work. He also said that by tomorrow all his technicians would have professional business cards and uniforms, which I was extremely impressed with.

He also immediately refunded one of my $75 fees.

While in the future I will probably ask for different technicians to come to my house, I am extremely impressed that the owner called me, addressed my concerns, listened to me, AND actually implemented some of the changes I suggested, not to mention giving me my refund. He also said that if I ever had any more problems or needed a second opinion I should feel free to call him.

I can't give it 5 stars since we had this issue in the first place, but I will gladly give it 4 stars and next time I try them I will increase it to 5 if it goes well.

They were at my house quick and cleaned my clogged washer. I am pleased with the service.

I was delighted with their service: prompt, professional, and friendly. Two technicians (Yagub and Tunjay) came to work on our dishwasher (which was leaking). Unfortunately we found that a RAT had chewed a hole in the enclosure so I have to buy a new dishwasher. That said, their service is top notch and I'll be calling them for help with installation of the new unit.

Great team of people! We booked an appointment to have them fix our built-in old school microwave. We received email confirmation indicating the time and the technician assigned. They called about half an hour in advance to make sure somebody was at the house. They arrived an hour past the scheduled time, but no big deal. When Yagub and Tunjay arrived, they were very courteous, took off their shoes, diagnosed the problem thoroughly, went to get a new part from the supply store, and came back to fix the microwave. Overall the whole process was painless and quick. I'm very impressed with their service, and I will definitely call them again if I have other appliance issues.

Fridge stopped working and our warranty coverage tech wasn't able to come out for another week (WTH right?) so we decided to give these people a call based on their reviews (thank you fellow Yelpers!).

He was able to fit us with an appointment within an hour and we even told him about an issue with our A/C unit that we had fixed the month before. He gave us recommendations on what is wrong with our A/C (which corresponded with what the A/C guy that fixed it said if we still have the problem) so it was reassuring that he was honest and didn't want to send a technician if they couldn't be of help.

The tech missed the appointment period (1-3p) so I text'd them and they responded promptly that he was running late and that he would be there within 20 minutes. Peter showed up and was very professional. He tested both our freezer output and fridge and determined our fan was not working and not pumping the cold air into the fridge. Because the part place was not open (it was passed 5pm), he suggested he will pick up the part first thing in the morning and come to replace the part. Our freezer was working but since no air was going into the fridge, we bought a dry ice pack to save what was in the fridge for the night.

Come morning time, Peter called to tell us he was leaving the store with our part and that he would be by within a couple minutes. He was able to replace the fan, test that everything was working and our freezer and fridge were good to go.

Very impressed with their promptness and professionalism. Our warranty service was trying to sell us an extended warranty program for five more years but with them only being to come out in a week to see our broken fridge, what's the point? May as well call Your Appliance since they will come our immediately and fix your problem. Highly recommended!

We called Your Appliance and Repair when our 9 year old washer started to leak. Yagub and Tunjay were on time and were very thorough in diagnosing the problem. I felt like they really took their time and did a lot of problem solving to deduce where the leak was coming from. This was not an easy job. They returned two additional times to install two new hoses and were prompt and professional both times. They always took the time to explain what they had discovered and what they would recommend. This is a wonderful appliance repair service. Super easy to make an appointment. They also explained how to clean out the filters in the future if I wanted to do it myself. This is now my go-to appliance repair company!

Came out in 2hrs after my call to check my stove. Paid $75 for diagnosis that would be credited if I chose to go ahead with repair. Got price and labor estimate by email after 1 hr. Next day they came out with the factory part and installed it. Very careful to not damage anything, and keep the kitchen clean. Checked out everything ok. Problem solved from call to completion in 24hrs. Ok price, professional delivery, conscientious communications. Wish all my service experiences were this good.

I rang these guys and was able to speak to someone immediately unlike many other companies which never returned my call.

I explained the problem with my LG fridge and he gave me possible causes and the estimate of what each problem would cost which really helped me. He was very honest and helpful and took time to speak with me.

Unfortunately, not due to his fault, I feared that if I needed a new LG part I might have to wait many weeks for it to arrive so I decided to go with LG direct who could obtain the part quicker.

If I have any further fridge or Hvac issues in the future I will surely call him up and also recommend him to others, it's a shame I couldn't get him to perform the work needed on my fridge, if I have a more simple problem next time I will definitely call him up.

Had a problem with a non-functioning Bosch dishwasher with error code E24. I loked online for solutions and tried the obvious things but couldn't get it working. Called Rovshan on the basis of a previous job his team had done. They came out this time in one hour and had the problem fixed almost immediately. Excellent service!

I was able to get an appointment for that same day and they even showed up early! Does that ever happen??? Our Sub Zero had a lighting issue which they solved and serviced. I had them service the furnace at the same appointment for a very fair price. Eli and Fizuli were polite, competent and clear with their explanations. I would call them again.

Even though I didn't end up using their services, I would use them in the future. I just called about a mold problem with my fridge dispenser. The guy saved me a trip fee by looking at the photos that I emailed him. He said that for the cost to replace the needed parts, I might as well buy another used or new fridge. I appreciate the honesty and would call them for other jobs.

Located these guys on Yelp after a careful search and review of ratings. Talked to a reputable company in SF but they would not take the trip to Palo Alto. They recommended someone local who got terrible reviews on Yelp. So I conducted my own search and found these guys. Talked to Roshvan yesterday and he said they would be here today between 3 and 5. Sure enough Eli and Yagub showed up at 4 sharp today. Professional, kind hearted guys who immediately diagnosed the problem. I have a 5-year old GE Adora side by side refrigerator which was making a funky noise every now and then with random cooling temps on the freezer side. They opened up the thing in 30 minutes, fixed the fan instead of replacing it which meant ordering a part and waiting for another visit. Real honest souls making house calls the old fashioned way (complete with all their tools). What more can you ask for. Even offered a 90-day labor warranty if the problem re-occurred. They said most companies will almost always recommend replacing these types of parts which do need replacing then charge you an arm and a leg with labor. Hire them without a question. By 5"15 pm they were done. Either be ready to replace these monsters for $1,000 or have it repaired for less than $200 (in my case $135). That's the bottom line with appliance repair IMO. I see tremendous value in this and specially if you have good people doing the job.

Yagub and Tunjay came to our home to repair a refrigerator. They were fantastic. They were punctual, took the time to explain the problem in detail, and fixed the refrigerator. I highly recommend them.

Rovshan gets 5 stars from me. My interaction was only over the phone and I never hired them because I never had to. As you have probably figured out ANY service call from anyone to assess your repair is going to cost $75 minimum and that will apply towards your repair --but only if those are the guys you choose to DO the repair. How do you get an estimate from more than one service center at $75 a pop?

Well, I partially disassembled my machine myself to attempt to assess the damage, quickly figured it was beyond my skill and was going to be a major repair. Called a few places and was quickly looking at over $100 just to get an estimate, plus parts, plus labor and no one even asked what brand/model it was.

Then I called Your Refrg/Hvac Repair. Rovshan returned my call in less than 5 minutes, i walked him through what little I knew and he dissuaded my from doing throwing any $$ at a 12 year old washing machine--money that might easily have been thrown his way.

So I need a new machine, have to get rid of the old one, and my problem is not solved but Rovshan saved me from having a worse day for sure.
If I ever need any other repair service I will call him and only him.

These guys are quite simply OUTSTANDING!!!

About six months ago, my fridge simply died. It is a built in type, and the replacements are very very expensive, upwards of $ 7K. Amazingly, KitchenAid, the manufacturer, does not keep up with selling replacement parts, forcing customers to junk an entire fridge (barely 10 years old). In our case, the missing part was the logic board.

I called Your Appliance. They came promptly. They were professional, and identified the problem immediately. Then began the search for the part, which turned up nothing. Amazingly, Rovshan and his colleagues did something I never thought anyone today does -- offer to rebuild the logic board. They told me that if the replacement does not work, they'd refund the entire money. I took the risk, and the fridge is working perfectly.

A couple months ago, I had another appliance repair, and did not hesitate to call them again. They did not disappoint. They arrived promptly; were extremely courteous and professional, and solved the problem.

These guys are first rate technicians, of the old school. They know what they are doing, and are thorough professionals.

Quite simply, the best experience I've ever had dealing with an appliance repair....EVER!
I had a broken hinge on a 17 year old Sub-Zero Fridge and a worn door gasket that needed replacement. After calling in the morning, techs arrived with parts in hand, ready to work. Typically, you have 2 appointments...one for the diagnosis, and a seperate repair appointment. These guys listened to me describe my problem over the phone and took it upon themselves to proactively pick up parts before coming to my house. After two hours of work, they were on their way, job completed!

I recommend them to anyone looking for honest, hard-working, fair-priced, problem solvers. These guys are complete Pro's, and next time I need appliance repairs, I know who to call!

My refrigerator died. Well, the freezer was still working, but the fridge compartment was much warmer than usual. In the past, I've fixed small problems with my dryer, clothes washer, and dishwasher. But in this case, I'm glad I called Your Appliance. We caught the problem in time, and Alex fixed it fast enough, that we didn't lose much of anything. The other good part is, if I had tried to do this myself, I would have started in the fridge section, not the freezer, but the problem was in the freezer, even though that was working properly. Our a/c stopped working just at the wrong time - beginning of June when it was starting to get REALLY hot. I called Rovshan and he came the very next day and fixed the problem in less than an hour. He and his partner were punctual, very friendly and efficient.

Alex came out today exactly on time to repair the evaporator fan on my Samsung Refrigerator model RS261MDRS. He explained in detail why the fan was being bogged down with ice and that it was going to happen again and again. The refrigerator is only 3 years old.The problem after much research is the poor design of the Samsung. I found tons of complaints about the same problem on this model on the Internet. It is a chronic malfunction with this refrigerator and Samsung has done nothing to help the people who have bought this model so they just discontinued it. He completely reinstalled a new system by whirlpool with a much better design. The price was reasonable for the amount of time he was here. He was completely honest, informative, clean and polite. I will definitely call this company again for any repairs I may have in the future.

Our Maytag dishwasher was leaking. The repair person was very courteous, and took his job responsibilities seriously. Though the leak was fixed, unfortunately the new gasket seems to be too thick; it restricts the door from closing completely, so the dishwasher stops multiple times mid-cycle. Once I reported this follow-on issue, the repairman stopped by again, but eventually admitted that there were no adjustments to be made. Because the repair was not completed to our satisfaction, the owner returned our check uncashed - no charge.
I appreciate both the owner's policy of 100% satisfaction guarantee, and the repair person's honesty regarding his inability to address the thick gasket problem. I can't tell you how often I run into a service person who pretends to know more than they actually do, wasting time and effort trying to fix something beyond them. Though they could not fix this problem, I will call them again if I have a similar repair job. This is a company that can be trusted, and that is worth a lot.

Peter fixed our refrigerator and had to make several trips, but he didn't nickel and dime me for a service fee every single time. Rovshan, the owner, fixed our AC. He doesn't usually make house calls, but became available as the summer heat wave struck and customer demand increased. He was incredibly patient with our unresponsive HOA, who were needed to help grant access to the rooftop area for the pipes.

I had an emergency repair need for a washing machine in my rental unit. These guys were available same day and came by when they said they would. They identified the problem and had the part on hand to fix it. I'm impressed.

The labor charge might seem a little expensive at first glance but worth it given they fixed the problem right away.

Our 15 year old SubZero freezer/refrigerator side by side stopped cooling properly and error messages appeared. We called Your Appliance... and had a visit the same day. Alex diagnosed a failed main control board. The needed part had to be ordered but when they received it earlier than expected, Alex came out within 2 hours and fixed the refrigerator in only an hour or so. We were delighted with the service and now the refrigerator works very well again!

Service technician responded quickly and took care of the problem in the electric system of the AC. Also, they helped double check other parts of the system.

Rovshan asked questions about the problem and promised to diagnose it within 30 mins. He set my expectations on the charges, which was a reasonable service fee that would be waived in the event of any any repairs. As promised, Rovshan found the problem within 30 mins (a slow leak). He added coolant and an ingredient to seal the leak. He recharged the compressor within an hour and verified normal operation of the system. He completed all the work within the original two-hour window.

He read the reviews of other repair vendors, got a sense for what consumers valued and what frustrated them about their experiences. I've had several teams come out to fix various things (washer/dryer and oven) and they were punctual, efficient, and VERY fair when it came to pricing. They were able to fix things that other companies were not able to, and did it faster and better, too. They've earned my loyalty!

They came out the day after I called and were even early for the appointment. The AC was working again within an hour and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

I hate waiting around for repairs, but they were super on time with a narrow 2 hour window. The guys who came were courteous, professional, and diagnosed the problem with our air conditioner right away. The fan would turn on and blow hot air; it turns out the capacitor was broken. He had the part with him and charged $35 for the parts, $225 for labor. All together, he was done in less than an hour - super efficient!

Very simply, I looked at 'Your Appliance...' and another vendor on yelp because the milk was curdling in our high end refrigerator that came with the house we bought. Funny how our previous models never needed any servicing but the high end model does...oh well, besides the point.

Their job is to come out and fix it. What was cool was on a weekend, I went to their website and clicked the 'Book Now' link, and then it popped up a calendar. I clicked the next business day, and they had an appointment available. So I clicked that, filled out the form, and submitted it.

They show up with Grandma there within the first 5 minutes of the two hour window. As I suspected, the refrigerant was low. They explained to her the options, then they called me. They used LeakFreeze, which the message boards says works, and an hour later Grandma is telling me how cold the fridge is and how nice they were to her.

The only drawback was their online payment link didn't work, not sure why nor do I really care. I sent them a check through the bank. Materials were within expectations, labor rates are not cheap but not exorbitant either.

Near same day service, reasonable price, and job well-done. Hence five stars, I'll use them again.

I own a dry cleaners, so I have a lot of washing machines that need maintenance. I usually made the drive from mountain view to Santa Clara with my laundry machines whenever they broke down, but this time I decided to use your appliance because they come to you. Our refrigerator suddenly stopped working and we needed it fixed asap. Found Your Appliance through Yelp and booked a same day appointment on their website. Peter came right on time (I had a window of 11-1 and he arrived at 11); he spent a lot of time looking at our fridge and diagnosing the problem. My GE fridge/freezer was no longer cold, and I am not a handy guy. Checked out Yelp, and they got good ratings.

They have an online booking form! I booked it at 1am last night for their first session 8am the next day (today) . Peter arrived at about 9am, just the right time for me (as earlier would still have kids getting prepped for school).

Peter peeked into the freezer and explained what he was going to do, the labor and part charges upfront. Seemed reasonable to me, although I do not have any others to compare to. He set out to work once I cleared the freezer. Once he defroze the back panel, he checked for faulty parts and found that the heater element was a goner. He even had the part on hand in his vehicle, so saved time from having to go out for parts.

Got done around 2 hours all in, billed and paid on the spot using his tablet, and received invoice/receipt by email immediately. They also provide a limited time warranty if the repair fails for the same reason, and they'll come back to fix it. Fast and efficient! I would recommend Peter to anyone with a fridge issue.

Dishwasher drain problem on Sunday, dinner party for 20 people planned for Monday. I tried troubleshooting the dishwasher myself, but when the DIY instructions got to "disconnect and remove your garbage disposal" I bailed (let's not break two critical appliances in one day, shall we?). Went to Your Appliance Repair's website and booked a Monday 10:30am appointment right then and there -- LOVE LOVE LOVE the online scheduling! So critical when stuff breaks on a weekend. Two guys came to my house right at the very end of the 2-hour window (which was a little unfortunate for my work schedule, admittedly), but they'd repaired the problem in under an hour and left everything in excellent and clean condition. I would definitely use them again (but really hope that I don't have to)!

Quick turnaround and great work. We wanted to fix out our heating and install a Nest. The guys were very thorough and clean in their work. They made sure the ladder was well cushioned to avoid paint nicks. The Nest was positioned strategically to mask the holes from the previous Rogers White.

They were great. I was actually able to get a same day consultation that led to my furnace getting fixed. I had called 4 different vendors prior too and they couldn't come til at least a week out. The service guy was really professional and repaired the issue.

They did a very good job when fixing my furnace problem three weeks ago. The technicians were Yagub and Fuzuli. They showed up on time and quickly identified what the problem was. They went ahead to look for replacement controller board for me but ask for my confirmation before making the order. The price was fair. They came back at the end of the following day. Before putting the new part in, they carefully made some further measurement to rule out failures of peripheral devices. Of course their diagnosis was right,and my house was warm again. They did a thorough and professional job,and kept the area clean. I will not hesitate to give them five stars.

My furnace stopped working suddenly. Reviewing Yelp, I saw this company has excellent reviews so I decided to make an appointment online through their website. I really like company that supports online appointment. It is very convenience. At first, I was very skeptical about the online appointment because I never got the confirmation email but later I found that the email was automatically forwarded to the spam folder.

Rovshan was the technician who serviced my furnace. He called me 20 minutes before he arrived, giving me time to drive home from work. He was polite and honest. I had an issue with my gas heater and after trying a few different things, I decided to call Your Appliance Repair based on the Yelp reviews. Rovshan came promptly during the promised time window and fixed the heater without any issues. But then came the best part. He stayed for about 30 more minutes to make sure that there were no issues and guess what - the heater turned off. He found a secondary issue and fixed it once and for all. I loved the fact that he had the patience to stay behind as opposed to just pick up his tools and leave. Rovshan showed patience and dedication to his trade and left me a very happy customer. He also checked my stove as I was having some problems and gave some good advice on how to fix it, gratis! He's going to be my go-to guy for all appliance issues going forward.

Yesterday morning our house heater stopped working. It's been quite cold and I really didn't want to be without a heater. Given the time of year, I was worried that we wouldn't be able to get anyone to come out to evaluate whether it was even safe, let alone give an estimate, repair it, or install a new heater.

I called and left a message late in the afternoon on the 30th. Rovshan call me back later that afternoon and scheduled an inspection for the next morning.

During the inspection, they discovered that the control unit was broken. He was able to get a new control unit and install it that same afternoon.

He and his assistant were timely, very communicative, polite and friendly, professional, and I felt comfortable with them in my house.

Also, as a nice bonus their prices were extremely reasonable.

I was very appreciative of them coming on such short notice, and doing such great work. I would definitely use them again and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Highly recommend for furnace repair. I was desperate during the holidays with a house full of guests and the furnace would just click and not ignite. Nice, fast, and professional! I called this morning around 10 to get an estimate, and they came within the hour. The price was reasonable, and they even put the inspection few toward the cost of the repair! All work was complete by 1 pm and I was even able to make the payment online. The key issue with a refrigerator failing compared with other appliances is you need the repair yesterday. I phoned about 5 all who either did not service Palo Alto or had a wait of at least 2 days. I found this company by accident when I search for dry ice. Their Yelp rating was excellent so I phoned and they came within a couple of hours (there were two). They identified the part not working (a small electric motor) and found a shop in San Carlos that had the part. The left their gear and went and picked it up. Came back and installed it. The fridge had not been defrosting so they also had to melt the ice that had formed on the back surface inside the freezer.
It was a bit costly (the part was $90). However, the fridge although old just fits the spot in the kitchen and new ones are an inch or two too tall. New fridges do not seem any more reliable and have grown in complexity not in my view a useful feature. Reminds me of Microsoft Office. The key quality in a fridge is reliability and simplicity is your friend.

Arrived on time and installed an over-the-range microwave in less than an hour for the agreed upon estimate. The two guys that did the work were extremely careful not to damage anything and took the time to test the unit. They were extremely professional and I'll be recommending and using this service in the future.

They're pretty responsive and actually shows up when they promised to show up at a certain time. We tried SEARS home service to repair our refrigerator and 3 times they messed up not in the work but actually showing up. These guys are a smaller company and thus very responsive to their customers.

In April 2016, our tenants called to say that they could not have ice cream any longer because the refrigerator would not get cold enough in the freezer. To remedy this unacceptable situation, I called one of the Yelp's highly rated repair services in Mountain View. Over a week, it was impossible to get an appointment and I finally gave up on them. Then I called "yourappliancerepairs". Someone actually answered the call and gave me an appointment right away. Peter showed up in the appointment window and replaced some parts (defrost timer) for which I paid. Well, after a week, our tenants called again and said that it is better/colder but not completely fixed and they still cannot have their ice cream and eat it too. I called again and Peter showed up again, as part of the guarantee. He discovered that further repair (replace compressor) would cost more than it is worth and suggested replacing the unit. So far so good. What was amazing is that, in addition to the prompt service, I got a refund for the first repair that did not solve the problem completely. For a small business, this is extraordinary. This is as good as it gets. Highly recommended.

Realized our 15-yr-old A/C unit stopped working during a heat wave and was desperately calling around to find a place that'll be able to stop by for service ASAP. (-) 1 star for only accepting checks (? at least on the spot the guy said they "prefer" checks). After the service was completed they said I would receive an emailed receipt but the check wasn't cashed till a week later. I called and left VMs to follow-up on the payment receipt, no one got back to me or emailed me and I had to call again several days after they cashed the check to ask for it.

I had a few questions about my broken fridge and the gentleman on the phone was very kind and extremely helpful. I really appreciated his knowledge and willingness to help, even when it ended up that I will not use his services.

Prompt. Fixed my dishwasher at reasonable cost. Then was able to look at my washing machine as well and fixed a balance problem. Also very reasonable. Thank you!!!

A month later I called them to fix my broken ice machine in my fridge. Again, done with a very reasonable cost.

Very happy with their service. A live person answered the phone promptly. I was able to get an appt the next day for a dryer repair and I had a few time choices to choose from. The technician found the problem quickly and although he didn't have the part with him, he was able to get it and return the next day to replace it. And it works!

We had a service call yesterday to fix our 23 year old dryer that has just stopped pumping hot air. At first I thought to throw the dryer away and buy a new one, then we decided to give it a shot and try to fix it hoping it would be cheaper. I called this company in the morning at 9 am and Alex was at my house 2 hrs later! Alex was such a knowledgable AND nice guy. It was truly a pleasure to deal with him. He took my dryer apart, figured out the problem, put in a new part, cleaned out the dryer inside and boom! My dryer works better than a new one! And it was much cheaper than buying a new dryer! And did I say Alex was a pleasure to deal with?! :)))). I will definitely be calling this company again to service my other appliances.

The technician came to help with a broken built-in microwave, a non-functioning detergent dispenser in the dishwasher, and a spontaneously self-setting childproof control on the fridge ice-maker. He was on time and quite knowledgeable.

For the microwave, which was 17 years old, he tested and found that two major parts had failed. Let me know the cost to repair, informed me that using the fan built into the microwave for stove cooking was problematic (built up grease could start fires) and answered my questions about other options. The information he provided helped me decide to buy a countertop microwave for now as we plan to remodel in the future and will put a hood above the stove.

For the dishwasher, he didn't test, but said it is most likely the wax motor needs to be replaced. He said he would order the part.

For the childproof controls, he informed me that it was a big repair to fix, requiring replacing the whole control panel...which did not seem worth the trouble to either of us.

I paid the $75 diagnosis/visit fee and thought that was fair. Later, I decided that I could more easily replace the part on the dishwasher myself than take time off work to be home for the fix, not to mention pay someone else to do it. I called, and the person I spoke with said that the part was already ordered. When I said I wished to cancel the repair if that was not a problem, he was very understanding and did so. I appreciated that and will call them again when the next major appliance fails.

These guys are great. I forgot to give them a review but catching up on things tonight. My 15 year old Maytag dishwasher stopped doing it's thing and they came out to repair it. After taking a look and pulling it apart, they told me it probably would cost as much to repair as replace and they were sorry they couldn't help. I accepted their advice but then they started tinkering with it again and found the drain and pump were clogged with broken glass and were able to clear it up and fix it for the initial service call charge which was very reasonable. Great News and it also saved me the hassle of going out and buying a new one, waiting for the installers, etc.

I discovered my refrigerator had stopped working in the morning. I called a few companies and only this one was able to come on the same day by noon and fix my refrigerator. I was very happy with the service and would highly recommend Your Appliance.

I was very satisfied with my experience. Customer service was prompt and service times are very flexible - including weekends. I was especially impressed with the technician Yagub (Jacob) as he was very knowledgeable, polite and got to the bottom of the problem at hand quickly. Would recommend to a friend.

Had an appointment window of 1- 3 PM. At 2:55, I was about to call and find out where our guy was, but the phone rung, literally when I had it in my hand to call, and it was our service technician, Peter R. calling to tell me he'd was running late. OK, no problem. At least he called. He checked out our oven to see what may or may not be happening. He was very thorough and explained everything about the thermostat and how the oven temps could differ depending on the region of the oven. Turned out, there was nothing wrong with the oven, so not a complicated service call. But, we appreciated Peter's time, explanation and overall demeanor and would highly recommend this company.

My 29 year old microwave broke just a few weeks before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, it's part of a microwave and oven double unit which isn't made in the same size anymore. Getting a new microwave and oven to fit the space would require breaking down a wall, reconfiguring the cabinets, replacing the countertop and spending thousands of dollars. Expense!! Hassle!! Based on the Yelp reviews, I called Your Applicance and now consider them the best "go to" guys around. Alex and his partner were timely, thoughtful, careful, professional and effective. And they fixed my really-should-have-been-retired microwave. I will call them every time I have an appliance issue. The price was fair, the service was outstanding, the communication was perfect.

On Dec 21, 2016, my 90% functional Jenn-Air 36" Glass Top electric cooktop was broken to become 20% functional by DeAnza appliance in trying to fix 10% non-functional part; not having a cooktop during Christmas with extended family arriving from Texas was not an option.

Spoke to TJ on 21st evening after purchasing new gas cooktop from Best Buy to be delivered on Dec 23rd morning. TJ was nice on the phone and accommodative of my schedule needs. I used this opportunity to switch from electric to gas cooktop of same model & make. The technician Peter from Your Appliance arrived on Dec 23rd afternoon at 1.00 pm as scheduled; we ran into a small glitch as the gas cooktop was 1/8th longer than the electric cooktop it was replacing; so, it did not fit into the granite cutout. Peter was patient until a handyman friend of mine came to cut the granite top little bit. Peter installed the unit patiently working with my friend and everything was done by 4.00 pm. Great relief to have a new working cooktop for Christmas with extended family.

Efficient, professional and responsible. Our refrigerator stopped working on December 30 with a house full of guests and a party planned. The part was brought to our home and installed within hours. I will always call Your Appliance.

Our dishwasher was broken. They did a great job. They were very professional and super nice team.

I called around 830am and the tech was at my door around 10am. I was able to get the fridge to exhibit the strange behavior and the tech swapped out the motherboard which he had on him! Fridge is working great and it even fixed the broken ice dispenser too! Thanks for the prompt and courteous service!!

TJ at Your Appliance Refrigeration & HVAC Repair is awesome!!! I called them to schedule an appointmet but my house was out of the area in the hills away from the areas they serve.

However, TJ, spent 30 minutes explaining to me what might be wrong with my fridge and even gave me advice on what I can do myself to troubleshoot and potentially easily fix my fridge.

Its been a long time since I have been impressed with service which I have paid for. This service from TJ, which I did not pay for and which he had no obligation in giving was very much appreciated on my end and I couldnt be more impressed with him going out of his way.

Customer service is incredible from this company. Now imagine if I was a paying customer.

TJ is the BEST. His customer service skills are unparalleled -- he was very responsive and we were able to communicate via text. His repair person, Ralph did a great job and TJ provided a detailed explanation of what was wrong and how to rectify the issue. On time, replaced gasket around refrigerator perfectly and cleaned up mess. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is they don't take credit cards and didn't provide a written estimate (they kept to their verbal estimate) and didn't write a receipt when I paid by check but they did send a receipt by email.

Spoke with TJ about my under the counter fridge leaking coolant. He spent time with me explain my options and what can or cannot be done, the honesty alone worth 5 stars.

This company is the epitome of excellent customer service. Peter came by and diagnosed that the issue was not with my fridge but probably my water filter or water line. I was charged the normal rate for the service call. When I asked TJ if he can help refund me part of this service call, he was ready to do it as a one-time favor because the service call only took 2 minutes. Truly amazing service. I'd highly recommend this company.

Incredible service!! I woke to a puddle of water under my old subzero. I called Your Appliance at 8am. We had a bad connection but the gentleman who answered was nice enough to call me back. He gave me a service window of between 11 and 1, same day. Alex arrived shortly after 11. I showed him the puddle and he identified the problem immediately, explaining to me what needed to be done. What could have been a mess was not. Alex was efficient and careful to clean up. He also vacuumed the coils underneath while it was all open. If 6 stars was possible, I would be giving Your Appliance 6 stars.

I like that you can make the appointments online, they are always on time and are good at fixing the problem. They don't charge you extra like some other appliance repair companies.

I have an update. After reading my last review the owner contacted me the same day with sincere apologies for dropping the ball and sent out one of his repair men to replace the bad part at my earliest convenience. He also called me after the work was completed to make sure I was satisfied. Our dishwasher is working again so I am a happy camper. I would consider them for future services.

The refrigerator in my office break room started leaking, and I called "Your Appliance Refrigeration & Hvac Repair". Since it was late in the day, they sent someone out the next morning.

I work at Stanford University, and it can be difficult to navigate through the campus to find our building. Alex showed up on time and went straight to work.

I was afraid that our refrigerator was not able to be repaired because it's 20 years old! Alex took one look at our refrigerator and knew exactly what the problem was. He told us the total of cost (labor, maintenance, etc.), then he fixed the problem in about 40 minutes.

They take credit card and emailed us a receipt within a few days. Our refrigerator has not had any problems since. Thanks guys!!

Yet again, the team from Your Appliance Refrigeration & HVAC Repair came through in the clutch! Had a faulty AC unit that had essentially zero coolant and it was right before the wave.

Rovshan came out at the appointed time, diagnosed the problem and had a reasonably-priced solution and the fix all within 90 minutes! When it comes to service to fix the problems you really need fixed, Rovshan came through for me. Broken AC 2 days before a heat wave AND my in-laws visiting the only grandchild? I would have given my left AND right hands for a fix. Luckily, he just took a check.

I cannot recommend the entire team enough and will always and forever call them for whatever service issues I come across.

My Maytag Bravos XL washing machine was sounding like a jet was taking off on the spin cycle. I called Your Appliance Refrigeration & HVAC Repair after reviewing on Yelp. Rovshan (Peter) came to my home and told me the bearings on the washer were shot. The price to fix the washer was fair, so I had him order the parts. Rovshan worked with my work schedule and had the washer fixed shortly after the parts arrived. He's professional, the work is top notch and my loud washer is now as quiet as church mice. I will recommend them and use them the next time I need a repair.

They are amazing--responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their appointment and payment systems are modern too.

Peter came to my house to fix the Freezer "Not cold enough" issue (-1C instead of -18C). He was quick to determine that it was the refrigerant issue, and provided options. He is clear upfront that this fix will not have warranty because of the nature of the issue but I think it is fair. He has helped to refill refrigerant and get the freezer cooling again.

They came the same day when no one else would ( this was an emergency). They used my gasket I got online. Others said that I'd need to use their materials and wouldn't even check if they had the gasket in stock, and oh by the way they can't come today. The guy even fixed my squeaky fridge door.
